- Introduction paragraph:
- introduce your research paper topic and the connection to the setting/themes of Roll of Thunder
- your thesis should explain what your research topic is about
- First body paragraph:
- topic: an overview and explanation of the issues underlying your topic
- include at least 3 different pieces of information about your topic; they must all be from 3 different reputable sources (websites)
- Second body paragraph:
- topic: possible solutions by experts in solving the issue
- include at least 3 different pieces of information; they have to be from at least 2 different source
- Third body paragraph:
- topic: this is your proposed solution(s) to solve your main issue
- you do not need quotes here, as this is your own proposed idea; however, it is recommended that you do bring in sources to back up your points
5. Conclusion paragraph:
a. intelligently conclude your paper, bringing up key points from your body paragraphs
Things to remember:
- make sure you save the websites from where you got your information
- only choose reputable websites; make sure it is from a reliable source
- watch out for plagiarizing information from online; put everything in your own words except for direct quotes in your body paragraphs
- quote integration is required for the paper and all future papers
- use strong academic vocabulary
